RecruitNY Open House a Big Hit!

The Rye Fire Department, in conjunction with The Firemen's Association of The State of New York (FASNY), held a RecruitNY open house on Sunday April 28, from 12-3pm. Throughout the open house, The Rye Fire Department conducted tours of the station and apparatus, allowed visitors to try on firefighting gear, and provided activities throughout the firehouse for visitors. Current members of the fire department were able to talk to potential new recruits and answer their questions.

The Rye Fire Department would like to thank everyone who stopped by; we hope you had a good time!
