Every year, on the first Thursday in October, The Rye Fire Department hosts our annual Inspection Dinner. This traditional event invites local politicians and other local fire departments to inspect our apparatus and manpower. This year, Rye FD invited members from Harrison FD, Port Chester FD, Mamaroneck Village FD, Mamaroneck Town FD, Larchmont FD, Purchase FD, West Harrison FD, Con Ed and Vincents Towing to attend. After a short cocktail hour at Fire HQ, members lined up on the apparatus floor (Due to poor weather outside) before proceeding to The Rye Golf Club's Whitby Castle for dinner.
