On Sunday, September 4th, there was a 4th Alarm Structure Fire at SUNY Purchase. Numerous Department were on scene including Purchase FD, West Harrison FD, Port Chester FD, Town of Mamaroneck FD, Village of Mamaroneck FD, Armonk FD, North White Plains FD, Larchmont FD and Harrison FD.

Harrison FD requested that Rye FD's ladder go on standby in our own HQ while Harrison's Tower Ladder operated at the scene of the fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the SUNY Purchase Police Department and the New York State Department of Emergency Services Office of Fire Prevention and Control.
