At 1350 hours on Tuesday August 3, the Rye Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with possible need for extrication on Hill Street near the intersection of Ormond Place. Arriving units found a blue Honda Civic laying on its roof after an apparent collision with a parked car. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, had already crawled out of a broken window and was quickly tended to and transported to an area hospital by Port Chester*Rye*Rye Brook EMS with non-life threatening injuries. Rye Police personnel investigated the crash while firefighters used absorbent to catch leaking fluids. Hannigan's Towing righted and removed the vehicle.
