| The Annual Picnic was a raging success, despite cloudy/humid weather and the occasional downpour. Over 150 people, including members and their families, attended this day-long event. As always, Jerry McGuire (of the Patrol Company) and the gang from Kelly's/Post Road Market delivered fabulous food and refreshing beverages. Captain Danny Bochicchio (Milton Point Hose Co.) also made a steaming pot of his famous clam chowder. The cheerful crowd also enjoyed a live DJ, clown, mind-boggling magician (How did he bend that fork??) as well as indoor swimming and a bouncy-castle. Many thanks to Warden Nick Loddo, Jr. (Patrol) for organizing yet another enjoyable picnic, and to 1st Ass't Chief George Hogben for coordinating the facilities. |
