On the first Thursday of October, The Rye Fire Department holds it's annual Inspection Dinner. This year, the event was held on Thursday October 3rd. Members of the Rye Fire Department marched in uniform past Rye Fire Headquarters as chiefs and members of local departments as well as local politicians watched closely. Harrison, Port Chester, Mamaroneck Village, Mamaroneck Town, Larchmont, Purchase and West Harrison Fire Departments all had members in attendance. After cocktails and marching at HQ, everyone headed over to American Yacht Club where dinner was served and awards handed out.
