Early Saturday Morning, Firefighters were alerted to a possible electrical fire at a home on Red Oak Drive. Engine 192 was first on scene and reported smoke showing from the right corner of the house, near the electric panel. Using a thermal imaging camera, firefighters were able to locate small pockets of fire in the walls. Those pockets of fire were quickly knocked down with a hand line. The rest of the house, including the attic and basement, were checked and all was found to be normal.

The Westchester County Cause and Origin Team was called in to investigate the exact cause of the fire. While Rye FD units were committed to this scene, Harrison FD was on standby for other calls in the Rye Fire District.
