At 7:15am on Sunday, June 14th, The Rye Fire Department was dispatched to a home on Florence Ave for a report of smoke coming from the roof. Rye Firefighters were quickly on scene and confirmed that smoke was coming from the attic and garage. Upon further investigation, a small fire in the back of the garage was found and quickly extinguished. Rye FD returned to service at approx 8:30am.
