A letter from the Westchester County Executive.

Dear Friends,

The County Attorney has prepared and submitted for consideration by the Westchester County Board of Legislators legislation that would have Westchester County Opt-Out of State law that permits the sale of pyrotechnic products that may be unsafe for children and others.

The bill goes before the Board for their review, public hearing and action. If they pass the proposed law, I intend, as County Executive, to sign it into law, thus ensuring the "opt-out".
