| On a cold and clear Sunday in February, the Rye Fire Department gathered to participate in a multi-company drill. This drill focused on Aerial Master Stream operations. Skills learned and reinforced included establishment of a water supply, relay of water from the Engine to the Ladder pipe, controlled direction of the Master Stream and Aerial Device operations. This training was held in conjunction with the regular Sunday morning Driver Training. Nearly 20 volunteers participated in this drill. A special thanks go to Captain Scarfone and Lieutenant Billington both of the Poningoe Engine and Hose Company as well as Warden Ocasio of the Poningoe Hook and Ladder Company for making this drill a great success.
