| The Wetdown for Ladder 25, our 2007 Seagrave Ladder Truck, was a great success! Despite an occasional downpour, hundreds of firefighters and guests turned out to check out the new rig and enjoy a delicious BBQ. Department Chaplain Andrea Raynor blessed the Truck and all firefighters who might utilize it to protect the citizens of Rye and their property. After the traditional christening with a bottle of champagne, Rye Engine 192 and Harrison Engine 12 used their deck guns to wet down the new Truck (along with much of the crowd!) |
