| On Tuesday night July 1, the Village of Mamaroneck Volunteer Fire Department's Annual Carnival kicked off with the customary parade. Fire Departments from all over Westchester County, Fairfield County Connecticut and even New Jersey turned out with hundreds of marching personnel and dozens of apparatus. The firefighters and their trucks were accented by marching bands, pipes and drums, and an FDNY Racing truck from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
Members of the Rye FD participated along with Car 2422, Car 2423, Engine 192, Engine 194, Utility 39 and Utility 49. |
