March 19, 2008
The night of 3/18/08 and early morning of 3/19/08 was busy for the Port Chester Fire Department. With two simultaneous working fires on Main Street, PCFD called for additional Tower Ladders 'to the scene.' As such Harrison's Tower Ladder 24 was quickly put to work. Rye's 'straight-stick' (Ladder 25) covered for Harrison by standing ready at their headquarters from 0135 until released at 0439. Several volunteer members responded with Ladder 25 along with Assistant Chief Cotter (Car 2423).
