On Sunday, April 6, representatives from Westchester County's famed Playland Amusement Park met with members of the Rye, Harrison, Port Chester, Mamaroneck Village, Purchase and West Harrison Fire Departments for a walk-through of the park. The training addressed how to deal with rescues from elevated rides and pre-incident planning for any fire emergencies. The morning proved to be quite informative and also a great opportunity to meet with our brothers and sisters in the fire service from neighboring departments.
